Summary:Дана книга є першим томом запланованої 3-томної монографії „Andreninae Центральної та Східної Палеарктики”. В загальній частині цього тому вміщено інформацію про морфологію, біологію, трофічні зв’язки, біономію, клептопаразитів та паразитів, класифікацію та географічне поширення андренін. Особлива увага приділена родам Andrena і Melittoides. В систематичній частині приведено[⇒] оригінальні таблиці для визначення родів Andrena F. І Melittoides Friese, 55 підродів роду Andrena, 93 видів 18 підродів цього роду. Морфологічна характеристика 18 підродів, детальна інформація для кожного виду (морфологія, поширення, місцезнаходження, екологія), проілюстровані 389 рисунками та 44 картами ареалів. Ця праця в значній мірі доповнює літературні відомості про Andreninae, зокрема азіатської частини Палеарктики, яка була до цього часу недостатньо вивчена.

Summary:This is the first of the three planned volumes of the monograph of the Andreninae of the Central and Eastern Palaearctic. The initial part of this volume includes general information on the Andreninae, concerning their morphology, biology, phenology, food preferences, bionomics, cleptoparasites and parasites, classification and geographic distribution. Special attention is given[⇒] to the genus Andrena, but also to Melittoides. The detailed part contains original keys to identification of the genera Andrena F. and Melittoides Friese, of the 55 subgenera of Andrena, and of 93 species within 18 subgenera. The morphological characteristics of 18 subgenera and detailed information on individual species (morphology, distribution, localities, ecology) are illustrated with 389 figures and 44 distribution maps. This work extensively supplements the published information on the Andreninae, especially in the Asian part of the Palaearctic, which has been poorly documented to date.
