The work is devoted to solving the problem of obtaining homogeneous time series of coordinates and the study of geodynamic processes occurring on the territory of Ukraine using Global navigation satellite systems (GNSS).
Firstly, the time series were obtained for 31 GNSS stations, 15 of which are located on the territory of Ukraine for the GPS-weeks 935-1399 (December 7, 1997 - 4 November 2006). Solutions are free from the effects of introduced changes in processing techniques, models, a priori data and software;
Secondly, the coordinate time series were checked for consistency with the decision of the European permanent GNSS network using Helmert parameters. This solution corresponds to international standards. It is makes possible to ensure the implementation of the International Earth reference frame on the territory of Ukraine for high-precision geodetic measurements;
Third, the velocity vectors were obtained for 15 GNSS stations. The velocity vectors are determined using global model of tectonic movements. Local velocity deformation were obtained for each permanent station also. The dynamics of the horizontal and vertical movements of the GNSS stations located in the Eastern European region, including 15 in Ukraine were investigated.
