The project is aimed at the development of fundamentally new scientifically grounded approaches to the creation of microbiome-correcting microbial preparations of targeted action based on metabolites of probiotic microorganisms. The work will use a wide range of potential microbiome-correcting substances and microorganisms, namely, 9 strains of lactobacilli, bifidobacteria and bacilli, their metabolites, as well as products of modern nanotechnology, in particular cerium dioxide nanoparticles, which, according to the new classification, are classified as prebiotic substances, which are able to predictably change the biosynthetic and probiotic properties of microorganisms, as well as affect the macroorganism.
Based on the results of the project, probiotic bacteria, their metabolites and/or prebiotic substances, intended for personalized correction of microbiome-associated infectious and inflammatory pathologies, will be proposed for the creation of a drug and further introduction into production.
New knowledge will be gained about the role of the microbiome, the molecular, biochemical, morphological and physiological bases of inflammatory and infectious diseases. Scientifically grounded approaches to the creation of pro- and postbiotic preparations for targeted correction of microbiomes and immune disorders for infectious and inflammatory diseases will be developed. A set of relevant technological documentation for further industrial production will be developed, namely patent (s) and laboratory regulations for manufacturing.
